LC Nations is a future landmark development in the Nations neighborhood. This Development will add to the nearly 700 units currently under construction on nearby Centennial Blvd. For nearly a year, the image above was the only rendering of LC Nations. As expected in the early phase of Design, it didn’t provide a lot of insight into the scale of the project. Therefore, given the recent progression of the Design, here is the quick rundown for LC Nations:
LC Nations
- What’s Now: Multiple Industrial Lots
- What’s Next: Mixed-Use Development
- Developer: Lifestyle Communities
- Location: 5010 Tennessee Ave.
- Capacity: 400 Residential Units, Retail, Amenities & Parking Deck
- Status: Design/Zoning Phase
- Cost: $9Million Real Estate Transaction
The 50% design progression for LC Nations gives us a bit more context and insight. It provides a glimpse into how this Development will transform the identity of the Nations. Slide the image below to see the dramatic change on Louisiana Avenue.

Although LC Nations is a mammoth Development, the building setbacks and residential aesthetic makes it less of an imposition on the bordering streets. This is a welcomed approach (in my opinion) given the amount of adaptive reuse of surrounding industrial buildings. It will also better compliment surrounding residential homes. The proposed retail/amenity component of LC Nations (highlighted in yellow below) appears to be well thought out as it places its retail component on Louisiana Avenue. Not only is this currently a dead spot at a major intersection, it now will share the street with Bringle’s Smoking Oasis (Peg Leg Porker), click here for recent Post. Other Amenities include a pool, multiple courtyards and community rooms that will further activate this street.
