Today marked a historic milestone, the start of construction on Phase 1 of River North. Developed by MRP Realty and Creek Lane Capital, the project will span 13-acres at the south-end of the River North district (close to Top Golf).


River North will anchor the redevelopment of the Cumberland River’s East Bank with a walkable waterfront district. Once complete, the development will provide creative office space, vibrant retail, a 4-acre riverfront park, as well as two luxury apartment buildings: Oxbow and The Wayward. This phase of the development is slated for completion in 2023. Here’s the quick rundown:

All of this spread across 4 buildings on the riverfront site.

Formerly the site of a rail yard and shipping terminal, the project’s design pays homage to its historical setting by embracing the river as a central theme of the development. River North incorporates artfully restored warehouses and modern industrial finishes into the architecture and design.
