Preliminary plans have been submitted for a new multi-family development in Hermitage. The project is located at Dodson Chapel United Methodist Church; at the intersection of Albee Drive and Dodson Chapel Road. It is also conveniently situated near the corner of Dodson Chapel & Old Hickory Blvd. and steps away from the NorthLake Village Shopping Center.

A request was filed to rezone the property from from RS15 & SP to SP Zoning. Once approved, the request will permit the multi-family development on the 11.47-acres site. The request was filed by Kimley-Horn on behalf of Dodson Chapel United Methodist Church, the owner. Here’s the quick rundown:

Overall Building Notes

The preliminary plan includes 310-units within seven, 3-story buildings. The project also includes an amenity/leasing building with a retail component. The development has access from Dodson Chapel Road onto a private access road named Dodson Chapel Court. Parking is proposed along Dodson Chapel Court as well as on surface lots throughout the development. Hardscape and infrastructure improvements such as sidewalks and bioretention ponds are also included as part of the plan. The development is scheduled to appear on the 12/9/21 Metro Planning agenda.
