Excavation activities are underway at T3 Nashville, a 7-story mass timber development in Wedgewood-Houston. The project is located along Martin Street between Humphreys Street & Merritt Avenue. The project is part of the ‘Finery’ Mixed-Use development located one street over and is also under construction.
T3, which stands for timber, transit & technology is a 200,000 SF innovative development with ground floor retail. The building’s floor will be constructed with Dowel Laminated Timber (DLT) above a concrete podium with a 200-space parking garage. The use of DLT is common in mass timber projects, here is an example of how DLT is fabricated.
