Plans have been submitted for a new Marriott branded hotel in Downtown Nashville. The property is located at the corner of 7th Avenue North & Commerce Street. It is also positioned across from the Renaissance Hotel and next to Hume-Fogg Academy. The address is 125 7th Avenue North.
A request for final site plan approval has been submitted for a collection of 3 properties that make up the site. Once approved, the request will permit a hotel on the 0.78-acre site. The request was made by Alamo Manhattan Properties, LLC on behalf of the property Owners.
New Marriott Branded Hotel developments are on the rise in Downtown since the opening of the JW Marriott in 2018. This development will be the only Marriott downtown under the Classic Premium Marriott Brand. There are two other premium branded hotels entering the construction phase (Ritz-Carlton & Edition) and one that recently opened (W Hotel) in the Gulch. This project will also join a collection of new hotel developments in the Downtown core. The map below shows a sample of new hotel projects which are either planned or under construction. The Hotel Lobby and entrance into the parking garage is located on 7th Avenue North. The Hotel lobby features multiple restaurant concepts, a lobby bar, as well as both indoor and outdoor seating. Level 2 opens up to the lobby areas and also includes administrative functions and operations. The project also includes a new pedestrian infrastructure including sidewalks, decorative lights, bench seating, & new planting areas.
Levels 3 & 4 consists of the meeting spaces. It features multiple Breakout rooms, Event Hubs with a grand stair, and Ballrooms.
Hotel amenities really start on level 5 which includes the fitness center. Level 6 has an expansive Amenity Deck which features a pool, Pool Bar, Hospitality Suites and a plethora of seating options and configurations. There is also a rooftop venue which opens up to a large terrace. It has its own kitchen and restrooms as well.
The guest rooms primarily occupy levels 5 through 20 and features standard rooms and suites. Levels 19 & 20 introduces the luxury and presidential suites which range from 1,023 SF to 1,644 SF in size.
