Malvern is a new condo development in the heart of Nashville’s Music Row neighborhood. The development is located amongst the music studios of Music Row and is walkable to the shops and restaurants of Edgehill Village, Vanderbilt Hospital, Midtown, and the Gulch neighborhoods. The concept behind Malvern was to create a true alternative to single-family living with the lock and leave convenience, and urban core livability of a condo. It was designed with the intention of setting the bar for boutique condo living in the city. The property is located on 1030 17th Avenue South.

The developer, Geoff Sernyak of Geofferson and Co, developed the concept after spending time working in real estate in Philadelphia and New York City. Named after the neighborhood in Melbourne, Australia, also where the inspiration for the design originated, Malvern is an exercise in high design, quality materials, privacy, size, and location.
Malvern is a unique residential offering in the heart of Nashville’s Music Row Neighborhood. The 6-story building will feature seven distinct residences offering a unique living experience more akin to a custom home than a typical condo. Some of the projects features include secure underground parking, direct-to-unit elevator access, home-sized units ranging from 2,100-3,800 SF, and oversized exterior terraces designed for dining and entertaining. Here’s the quick rundown:

Development Rundown

Malvern
- What’s Now: Previous Vacant Residential Lot
- What’s Next: Condo Development
- Developer: Geofferson and Co
- Architect: Centric Architecture
- Sales & marketing: Domaine Residential of Compass
- Contractor: Avenue Construction

Instead of offering small units with lots of shared amenities, the developer decided to give all the amenity space back to the units themselves. The 7 residences range in size from 2,100 SF 2 bedroom plus den units to a 3,800 SF dual level penthouse. All units have large outdoor terraces including nearly 800 SF of terrace space for the penthouses. A post-tension concrete structure and minimally shared interior walls allow for quiet and peacefulness while still being close to the sound of Music City.
Inside, Malvern has been designed with classic materials like wide plank white oak floors, marble countertops and backsplashes, tambour white oak wall paneling, European style custom cabinetry, and large format Fiori Di Bosco wall tiles in a contemporary fashion.
