Charleston SC based developer Middle Street Partners has submitted plans for Phase 2 of the Crossings in Antioch. The Crossings At Antioch is a new garden-style mixed use development just 20 minutes from Downtown Nashville. The property is located across the upcoming Tanger Outlets and Nashville SC Practice facility on I24. It is also down the road from the Freeland Jeep Dealership on Crossings Blvd. Once complete, both phases of The Crossings will add a total of 549 units to the site.


Phase 1 of the Crossings At Antioch includes 349 units across eight 3 & 4 story apartment buildings. The units range in size from studios to two-bedroom and live-work floor plans. Some of the featured amenities include ground-floor garage spaces, fitness center, club house, swimming pool, dog park, and commons that will connect to a greenway trail. Phase 1 has been awarded to contractor Hardaway Construction.

A request for final site plan approval has been submitted for Phase 2 of the Crossings. Once approved, it will create 200 additional multi-family residential units and retail space on the 24.98-acre site. The request was submitted by Catalyst Design Group on behalf of the property owner. Here’s the quick rundown:

Phase 2 includes a mix of Studio, 1, and 2-Bedroom units as well as live/work units. The 9 live/work units are strategically placed next to the buildings retail space. The units are located on the ground floor of the South and East facades of the building. They feature large storefront entrances which is a game changer at this scale for live/work units. Given the rise of work from home, this is a design feature I believe we will start to see more of in the future.


The residences and amenities in Phase 1 are spread across multiple buildings. However, Phase 2 of the Crossings will feature the residential units, retail space, and amenities in one building structure. Some of the featured amenities include a pool deck, courtyard, and retail space, all of which face Crossings Blvd.
